FFM61 Series V-cone flowmeter is a product developed
by Floworld Company (U.S.) in 1980s. The product marks a leap in
the field of differential pressure flow measurement. The flowmeter
measures the pressure difference between upstream and downstream
by means of the throttle effect generated by V cone in flow field.
Compared with the common throttle sets, it transforms the throttle
pattern by changing central hole throttle to circular one. The practice
has born out that as compared with other flowmeters, V cone flowmeter
enjoys the advantages such as long-term high precision, good stability,
little limitation on installation, strong resistance to wear, wide
measurement range, small damage due to the pressing and adaptation
to the dirty media. In addition, V cone itself serves as rectifier
in the flow field and thus becomes a unique and superior new-type
flowmeter. The V cone flowmeter composed of V-cone sensor and differential
pressure transmitter can accurately measure the flows of media within
the range of Reynolds number (8×103≤Re≤5×107).

transmitter shall be graded at no less than 0.2. ); (β:0.45~0.85,when
β<0.55 and the ratio of range is 4∶1,precision grade:≤0.30)

the pore plate when the value of β remains the same.

or particle.
6、Long-standing favorable stability: the value of β can remain
the same for long and the accurateness in measurement can be ensured
for a long period.

9、Stable signal: singular fluctuation is 1/10 of that of pore
plate;

of V cone flow sensor allows wide range of the value of β;

V cone flowmeter (composed of V cone sensor
and differential pressure transmitter)
In accordance with the different customers’ demands, the flowmeter
composed of V cone sensor and differential pressure transmitter
can be supplied in the following two ways:
1、V cone sensor
Only the components (V cone and measuring pipe)for the measurement
on differential pressure signal are provided. The differential pressure
transmitter, three-valve manifold and flow display are not provided.
The output signal is differential pressure. The flowmeter is assembled
by a customer itself.
2、V cone flowmeter
It is composed of V cone sensor and differential pressure transmitter.
The installation takes two forms: divided and integrated.
The divided V cone flowmeter is composed of independent V cone sensor
and differential pressure transmitter. The pressure guiding pipe
that lies between V cone sensor and differential pressure transmitter
is installed by a customer itself. The differential pressure transmitter
is supplied in accordance with the customers’ demands.
Integrated installation means that the differential pressure transmitter,
three-valve manifold and V cone sensor have been integrated into
an organic whole when the product leaves the factory. The customer
doesn’t need connecting pressure guiding pipe upon the buying of
integrated V cone flowmeter. If needed, corresponding flow integrator,
pressure transmitter and temperature transmitter can be provided
by the manufacturer.
